With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we remember and honor the lives of Nansi G. Fuentes Zambrano, Dena M. Silcox, and Adam J. Wilwerding, three individuals whose lives were tragically taken far too soon. Their unexpected passing has left their families, friends, coworkers, and the entire St. Paul community grieving an unimaginable loss.

The victims were identified as Nansi G. Fuentes Zambrano, 25, of Inver Grove Heights; Dena M. Silcox, 56, of St. Paul; and Adam J. Wilwerding, 43, of Oakdale. According to authorities, officers with the St. Paul Police Department responded to reports of gunfire Monday afternoon at an apartment complex located on the 1500 block of St. Paul Avenue. When officers arrived, they discovered three individuals who had tragically lost their lives inside the leasing office area. Authorities have since continued their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, with a suspect reportedly taken into custody.

While officials work to uncover the details of this heartbreaking event, today we pause to remember the people behind the tragedy. Nansi, Dena, and Adam were more than names connected to a devastating incident—they were loved family members, friends, coworkers, and valued members of their community.
